Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026
This policy explains what information Finger Forklift & Equipment (“we”, “us”) collects through fingerforklift.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’re a small Northern California equipment dealer. We collect only what we need to answer you and to sell and service equipment, and we never sell your information.
What we collect

We don’t use advertising or analytics trackers, and we don’t set cookies for visitors. Only our own staff get a sign-in cookie, when they sign in.
How we use it
- To answer your questions, send quotes, and arrange sales, delivery, rentals and service.
- To keep a record of our conversations with you, so whoever helps you next knows the history.
- To email you about new inventory, only if you asked us to.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements once you do business with us.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing. We do use a few service providers that handle information for us under their own security and privacy terms:
- Amazon Web Services hosts this website and our business system, and stores our backups.
- Google provides our business email (Google Workspace) and the fonts used on this site. When your browser loads the fonts, Google receives your IP address.
- Twilio carries our business phone calls and text messages, if you call or text us.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of selling the business.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and message history while we have a business relationship with you, and as long as tax and business-record laws require after that. Server logs with IP addresses are kept only briefly, for security and troubleshooting. Backups are kept for up to 90 days.
Your choices
- See, correct or delete your information: email fingerforklift@gmail.com or call 707-685-5772. We’ll verify it’s you, then update or delete it, except for records we must keep by law (for example, invoices).
- Stop inventory emails: reply “unsubscribe” to any email from us, or email us. We’ll stop within 10 business days.
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any text from us.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. We don’t track visitors across other websites or over time for advertising, and we don’t allow third parties to do so on our site, so our site works the same whether or not the signal is on.
Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption. Our business system requires staff sign-in and limits each person to what their job needs. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever exposes your personal information, we’ll notify you as California law requires.
Children
This site is for businesses and adults buying equipment. It isn’t directed to children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
California residents
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83), you can ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing. We don’t. You can still email us to ask.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll note it on the home page.
